Becoming Its Own College of Nursing
For the school, the new building is a critical step toward becoming an independent institution. On its way to becoming a college, In October, 2008, fifty-five students will be among the first group to enter the new baccalaureate program.
The college of nursing capital campaign is underway to raise funds to complete this building's lower level. The first floor, including auditorium, is unfinished, and the space needed by October, 2009. The cost of the auditorium project, with finishing works, is $403,769. Nazareth Project, Inc. has committed to raising $100,000 from US partners. This fund-raising campaign for Nazareth College of Nursing is led by Nancy Martin, EdD.
