About Us
Incorporated in 1991, Nazareth Project, Inc. is a 501(c)(3) organization. We serve as a bridge between the people of the USA and the Living Stones of the Holy Land. We offer practical support to Nazareth Hospital and College of Nursing, a Christian hospital and nursing school in Nazareth, Israel, through fundraising and exchange. Our projects for funding include:
Nazareth Hospital
-Chaplaincy program
-Construction (See our report on the new operating rooms!)
-Continuing education courses for staff
-Equipment
School of Nursing
-Capital improvements
-Continuing education courses for staff
-Publication of parenting resources for the school's outreach to parents
-Scholarships for student nurses
Our Mission
We support ministries of healing and reconciliation in the Holy Land through health care services. The Nazareth Project, Inc. operates from the core conviction that all people are created in the image of God, and are therefore to be treated with dignity and compassion. We do this by supporting Nazareth Hospital and Nursing School, Nazareth Israel. Administered by Arab citizens of Israel, these institutions do not discriminate according to ethnicity, religion, or ability to pay.
We continue to:
Encourage prayer on behalf of the people of the Holy Land.
Facilitate acquisition of funds, equipment, and supplies for Nazareth Hospital and School of Nursing.
Recruit and identify candidates for service as volunteers (both medical and non-medical) at Nazareth Hospital.
